Configuring Phone Calls

About this task

Procedure

  1. From the SOTI MobiControl web console main menu, select Profiles.
  2. In the top-right corner, select New Profile.
  3. In the Add Profile panel, select Android > Work Managed.
  4. In the Create Profile panel, in the General tab, enter the Profile Name.
  5. In the Create Profile panel, in the Configurations tab, select the icon to add a new configuration.
  6. In the Add a Configuration panel, select Restrictions > Phone Calls .
  7. In the Restrictions section, configure restrictions on incoming and outgoing calls for your Android Work Managed device(s).
  8. In the Phone Calls panel, select the icon to create a new list.
  9. Enter the Name, and select the Call Direction and Call Type.
  10. In the Add Phone Numbers section:
    • Select to import a file that contains phone numbers.
    • Select to add new phone numbers.
    Tip: If for example, you want to block all the numbers that start with 416, enter an asterisk (*) after 416. For more examples, see the Using Wildcard Characters section in Adding Phone Calls.

  11. Select OK. The new phone number(s) are added to the Phone Calls section.
  12. To configure these new phone number(s), enable the toggle button located on the same row.
  13. Optional: Enable Notify Server When Call is Blocked and Notify Device User When Call is Blocked.
  14. Select Save.
