Editing a Compliance Policy

Before you begin

Ensure that you are signed in to the SOTI Connect web console as an administrator with the Modify Rules permission.

About this task

This section describes how to edit an existing compliance policy.

Procedure

  1. From the SOTI Connect main menu, select Rules > Compliance Rules.
  2. Select the compliance rule you want to edit.
  3. Select the Edit button. The Edit Rule window appears.
  4. In the Select Items tab, modify the selected devices, then select Next.
  5. In the Setup tab, do one of the following: or
    • Select besides a criteria to modify it.
    • Select to add a new criteria.
    Tip: Refer to the Setting up a Compliance Policy section for details about configuring included devices and compliance rules.
  6. Select Update.

Results

You have successfully edited the compliance policy.
