Rules View

The Rules view lists all rules created in SOTI Connect for enrolled devices. This centralized view allows administrators to quickly assess, manage, and troubleshoot the automation rules that are in effect across the organization.

Rules view contains key details about each rule, such as:
  • Rule name and description
  • Rule type (for example, enrollment, data collection, notification, action-based)
  • Device scope (device groups, device types, or individual devices targeted by the rule)
  • Status (active/inactive)
  • Last modified date and time
  • Last execution date and any associated results (if applicable)
This summary makes it easier for administrators to track which rules are in use and their operational status at a glance.
Rules view

You can filter the list by selecting a rule type in the left pane. See Rule Types for more information on the available rule types.

In the Rules view, hover over a rule in the list to reveal a menu button on the left side of the row. Select button to access a menu with various options, allowing you to:
  • Edit the rule
  • Copy the rule
  • View the rule syntax
  • Delete the rule
