Enabling and Disabling a Compliance Policy

Before you begin

Ensure that you are signed in to the SOTI Connect web console as an administrator with the Modify Rules permission.

About this task

A disabled compliance policy cannot apply compliance rules or categorize devices as non-compliant. It remains inactive until re-enabled.
Note: When a compliance policy is disabled, any devices previously categorized as non-compliant by that policy are marked as compliant.

Procedure

  1. From the SOTI Connect main menu, select Rules > Compliance Rules.
  2. To disable a compliance policy, select the toggle in the Active column for the desired policy.
    Disabling a rule
    The compliance policy is now disabled.
  3. To re-enable the compliance policy, select the toggle in the Active column again.
    Enabling a Rule
    The compliance policy is now enabled.

Results

You have successfully disabled and re-enabled a compliance policy.
