SOTI Snap Agent Compatibility

Encourage app users to keep their SOTI Snap agent up-to-date with the latest available version. When SOTI Snap agents no longer match the SOTI Snap server version, they cannot download the versions of apps published by later SOTI Snap servers.

The SOTI Snap agent will prompt app users to update their agent whenever a new version is available.

Tip: You can check the version of the SOTI Snap agent on a device in the Devices > Device Manager list. You can send messages to outdated devices that encourage them to update their SOTI Snap agent.

Older SOTI Snap agents can still download apps, but they will be the app versions that match their agent, not the latest version of the apps. After they update their SOTI Snap agent, they will receive the latest apps.

App users can download the SOTI Snap agent from the Apple App Store or the Google Play store, or they update from within the SOTI Snap agent through the Settings menu.
