Apps in SOTI Snap Link
After an app is published, it appears in the SOTI Snap Link console as specified in its SOTI Snap Link data export connection. Therefore, if you connect multiple apps to the same SOTI Snap Link account, they will all appear in that SOTI Snap Link console.
Each app has at least one rule. Rules are the data export connections that you configured for the app in the SOTI Snap console. Since rules reflect data connections for an app, it's possible for a single app to have multiple rules, either for different forms within the app, the same form with different settings, or both. If you have multiple forms in your app and you want records from all of them, you'll have to create multiple data export rules in SOTI Snap.
Rules must have at least one destination, which controls where app data is sent and the format it's sent in. Destinations are specific to the rule they were created for; though you may duplicate destination settings for different rules, changes to one destination won't affect the other.
Destinations provide granularity to control how app data is rendered in your local data store. Say you have a SQL Server database where you want to save app data. But how you want to present the data differs depending on the form or app field. You can create a destination that exports data from Form A in one format and then create another destination that submits data in another format for Form B.
You can see historical versions of app, their rules and destinations, but you cannot edit them.
