Configuring General Settings

About this task

The General tab on the Settings page allows users to configure custom console settings, including system fonts across the console and SOTI Snap applications.

Procedure

  1. Select Settings icon Settings from the web console to navigate to the console settings.
  2. Select the General tab.
  3. For the following available actions, follow the corresponding procedure:

    Uploading Custom Fonts
    Upload a custom font to personalize your console or application. Supported font formats are the following:
    • TTF
    • OTF
    • EOT
    • WOFF
    • WOFF2
    Note: Roboto is the default system font for SOTI Snap. If you delete a custom font, both IDE and the SOTI Snap Device Agent uses Roboto as the font.
    Important: SOTI Snap does not assume responsibility for copyrighted fonts uploaded by users. Organizations must verify ownership rights before uploading fonts, as unauthorized use of fonts may have legal consequences.
    1. Select Fonts to configure font settings.
    2. Select Add in the Custom Fonts dialog. The Add Custom Fonts window appears.
    3. Enter a name in the Font Family Name field then select Upload. A file browser window appears.
    4. Navigate to the font and select it, then select Add.

    Results: This page lists the uploaded font family. The user can view an expanded version of the font family by selecting the > icon.
