Field Settings

The following tables describe the available settings for each data element that can be placed on the PDF Mapper. Adjust these settings as required to suit your organization's look and feel.

Camera

Group Field Setting Description
General Details Field Name

Set the name that refers to the PDF field. You may use fields more than once on the PDF. Each instance can be named separately. By default, fields use the same name as their underlying widget or metadata source.
Style Color Mode
Select to display images in one of the following formats:
  • Color
  • Black and white
Camera Settings No. of images per page

Select the number of scaled images displayed per page. SOTI Snap creates additional pages when the number of images exceeds this amount.
Embed the image into the PDF

Select to place and embed the first image of the record onto the PDF form. Any further images appear on additional pages. See No. of images per page to determine how many images appear on each page.
Caption Show Caption

Select to display captions when present.
Font Settings

(used for captions and only visible when Show Caption = TRUE)

 Font Name

Select the font for displaying the field's text.
Font Size

Select the font size for displaying the field's text.
Font Color

Select the font color for displaying the field's text or paste a hexadecimal color value in the color selector.
Font Style
Select to display the text in any combination of the following styles:
  • Bold
  • Italic
  • Underlined
Alignment
Select to align the text in one of the following settings:
  • Left
  • Center
  • Right

Check Box

Group Field Setting Description
General Details Field Name

Set the name that refers to the PDF field. You may use fields more than once on the PDF. Each instance can be named separately. By default, fields use the same name as their underlying widget or metadata source.
Checkbox settings Checkbox State
Select the default value of the check box:
  • Unchecked (FALSE)
  • Checked (TRUE)
Font settings Font Size Select the font size of the non-printing check box labels. The check box grows or shrinks with the font size.

Drop Down

Select the font for displaying the field's text.
Font Size

Select to display the text in any combination of the following styles:
  • Bold
  • Italic
  • Underlined
Alignment
Select to align the text in one of the following settings:
  • Left
  • Center
  • Right

Radio Button

General Details Field Name

Set the name that refers to the PDF field. You may use fields more than once on the PDF. Each instance can be named separately. By default, fields use the same name as their underlying widget or metadata source.
Font Settings Font Size Select the font size of the non-printing radio button labels. The radio button will grow or with the font size.
