Configure Status Settings

About this task

SOTI Snap provides several default status values for various workflow stages; however, some may not suit your needs. For example, "Under Review" may be better than "Pending". With this in mind, you can customize default status values to match your process.

The Status Settings window is accessible from the following places when designing your workflow app:

From location Do the following
Workflow Canvas
  1. Select a Set Status activity in your workflow.
  2. In Properties, select Set Status Settings.
Inbox
  1. From Inbox Properties, select Inbox Detail Page.
  2. Under Content Settings, select Send Back button Send Back.
  3. From Set Status After Sending Back, select Set Status Settings.
My Requests
  1. From Requests Properties, select Requests Listing.
  2. Under Configure Status, select Status Settings Settings.

To update the available status values, perform the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Review the list of status items. To change how each status is shown or communicated, select its Display Value field and edit as required.

  2. When edits are complete, select Save.

Results

The updated status items display as intended when used or referenced in the Workflow Canvas or within the Inbox messages on the mobile device.
