Using Battery Prediction for Battery Condition

About this task

The Smart Battery dashboard shows the current condition of your batteries, telling you how many are good or failing so you can decide which ones need replacing.

Procedure

  1. Select Main Menu Button Main Menu > Operational Intelligence. The Smart Batteries dashboard opens.
  2. Select the Profile list and select Smart Batteries. The list of battery pools displays.
  3. From Battery Pools, select a battery pool.

  4. Select from two Battery Prediction charts:
  5. Hover over the columns in the Battery Prediction chart for a summary of battery health for the selected chart. For each projected month, the column color indicates battery status related to the following:
    • Green—Number of batteries operating in a healthy range according to your parameters set for the chart.
    • Orange—Number of batteries that may show signs of fault according to your parameters set for the chart.
    • Red—Number of batteries that require action according to your parameters set for the chart.
    • Gray—Insufficient information to make a prediction.
  6. Select a column to see the individual batteries in the Smart Batteries table at the bottom of the dashboard.
  7. From the Smart Batteries table, select a battery to view its details in the Battery Spotlight. Select your web browser's back button to return to the Battery Prediction chart.

  8. elect Close beside the filter over the Battery Prediction chart to restore the results from all columns. For example:

Results

You can now check the general condition of all or specific batteries.
