Home Screen Layout (tvOS)

Use the Home Screen Layout feature to arrange application icons and folders on the tvOS home screen.

Note: This feature requires supervision and tvOS 11.0 or later.

Important: For the best results, the icons and folders in this configuration must match those on the tvOS device. Items from this configuration that are not found on the device are ignored. Items on the device that are not included in the configuration appear in random locations.

Configure Home Screen Layout settings on your devices when:

Selecting Add opens the Home Screen Layout window. Set the order of listed items using the buttons. The form captures the following information.


Type	Indicate the type of icon on the screen. Choose from: Application Folder
Name	If the Type is Application, give the name of the application. When found, the App Bundle Identifier information fills out automatically. If the Type is Folder, give the name of the folder.
Folder Items	If the Type is Folder, you must identify the Folder Items to include. Selecting Add opens the Home Screen Layout window. By default, the Type is Application. Give the name of the application. When found, the App Bundle Identifier information fills out automatically. Use the buttons to order the list items. Selecting OK adds the application to the folder items list.
