Web Content Filter

The Web Content Filter configuration enables web content filtering on supervised iOS devices. Configure the web content filter to block or allow device access to website URLs. Do this when:

• Creating a Profile
• Editing a Profile

AutoFilter Mode

Under Autofilter mode, the Safari browser filters out unsafe URLs, restricting access.

Allowlist Mode

Under Allowlist mode, specify permitted URLs for iOS devices. These URLs appear on devices as bookmarks. You can also set a bookmark folder location relative to the root folder on the device.

Plugin Mode

Under Plugin mode, specify a third-party web content filtering app. See Setting up Plugin Mode for more information.

Manage Applications

Under Manage Applications, specify any applications whose network traffic you wish to process using the web content filter. See Managing Applications for more information.
