LDAP
Setting up the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) configuration enables devices to download the company contacts currently configured in LDAP. After configuration, information from LDAP is placed on the contacts app. Perform this configuration when you do the following actions:
Note: This does not set up LDAP authentication so that users can unlock devices. It only provides
a list of contacts in the company directory.
Note: Cloud Link Agent does not work with this LDAP
profile with iOS.

Account Description | The name of this LDAP configuration |
Account Username | The account name used to query LDAP Note: You can use any email
address for LDAP access. Using a macro is not
required. |
Account Password | The password for the account used for querying LDAP |
Account Hostname | The location of the LDAP server Tip: Fully Qualified
Domain Name (FQDN) and IP address are supported. |
Use SSL | If enabled, SSL will be used for all communications |
Add Search Settings | This enables you to search specific directories including child directories in LDAP. Select the green + button to enter the search settings. |
