Linking Client Tenants to a Managed Service Providers Multi Tenant Portal

Learn how a client tenant can link their environment to the Managed Service Provider's (MSP) Multi-Tenant Portal.

A Managed Service Provider (MSP) is a third-party organization that manages a customer’s applications, accounts, or configurations through the SOTI Identity Multi-Tenant Portal. Linking allows an MSP to manage client tenants remotely while maintaining secure tenant boundaries.

There are two ways to create a link between a client tenant and an MSP tenant:

Linking a Client Tenant to a Managed Service Provider: The client tenant administrator sends a linking request to the MSP tenant.
Linking a Client Tenant from a Managed Service Provider Tenant: The MSP administrator sends a linking request to a client tenant through the Multi-Tenant Portal.

Regardless of who initiates the linking process, the relationship always places the client tenant under the MSP’s Multi-Tenant Portal.
