Customize your account settings in SOTI Identity, including language, authentication, and portal display options, to personalize your user experience.

About this task

Customize your preferences in SOTI Identity to help personalize your account experience so that the platform aligns with your needs. Set your language for easier navigation, update your password or enable password-less authentication for enhanced security, and select your preferred home tab for quick access to frequently used features.

Procedure

To access your preferences:
  1. Select your username in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Preferences from the dropdown menu. The Preferences window opens.
  3. Choose from:
    Option Description
    Profile Displays your username, phone number, and email ID.
    Note: Profile details are only viewable.
    Language Choose your preferred language for SOTI Identity. Available options are English and Japanese.
    Authentication Use this section to update your password or set up passkey authentication.
    • Change your password: Enter your current password, then create and confirm a new one to save your changes.
    • Set up password-less authentication by registering a passkey that lets you sign in using your face, fingerprint, PIN, or another device (iPhone, iPad, Android, security key, or Windows device).

    Important: Passkey authentication is only available for local SOTI Identity users.
    Portal Options Use this section to set your preferred home tab on SOTI Identity and background.
