Enrolling and Managing Channels
Before you begin
Note: You should have received enrollment details from your SOTI Snap administrator, likely via email. If not, contact your SOTI Snap administrator before you begin.
About this task
You may need to add another channel to your SOTI Snap Device Agent. A channel is any source from whom you receive SOTI Snap built apps. This can happen if your main company employs a third-party or managed service provider (MSP) to offer other services and that MSP also uses SOTI Snap to create custom apps.
Although you can access apps from different channels from within the same SOTI Snap Device Agent, those apps are entirely separate and do not exchange data with each other.
To add another organization's apps to your current SOTI Snap agent:
Procedure
- Open the SOTI Snap Device Agent on your device and tap .

For the following available tasks, select the corresponding respective
procedure:
Task Procedure Enrolling in a Channel - Have your enrollment details nearby.
- Select Add to open the SOTI Snap authentication screen.
- Depending on how your SOTI Snap administrator chose to
configure enrollment, you need to do one of the
following:
- enter your email address
- enter an enrollment ID
- scan a QR code
- Optional: Set up a PIN to increase security for the SOTI Snap Device Agent.
Rearranging Channel Order To rearrange the order in which channels appear in your SOTI Snap Device Agent: - Select and hold a channel to emphasize it, then drag it up or down to place it higher or lower in the list of channels. Channels higher in the list appear first in the SOTI Snap Device Agent.
- Repeat with the rest of the channels until you arranged them to your liking.
- Select your back button to return to the main SOTI Snap Device Agent channel screen.
Removing Channel Important: If you remove this channel, you lose all data associated with this channel. While you can re-enroll in this channel later, the SOTI Snap Device Agent does not keep any data from the past.To remove a channel from your SOTI Snap Device Agent:- Select the red minus icon beside the channel
you want to remove from the SOTI Snap app. Confirm the
removal. Restriction: You cannot remove the last channel.
- Select your back button to return to the main SOTI Snap Device Agent channel screen.
Results
You are now enrolled in another SOTI Snap environment. Swipe horizontally in the Device Agent to switch between companies.
