The opportunity to advance aerospace technology and lead the next generation of innovators in Canada has always been an inspiration in my career. As such, I am to be appointed to the position of the SOTI Research Chair at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Department of Aerospace Engineering.

Since its launch, the Department of Aerospace Engineering has focused its research on vision systems for indoor environments, including smart avoidance, auto location of people and objects, self-navigation, self-learning and situational understanding, which will be brought to market by SOTI’s proven commercialization.
