Like the rest of the world, SOTI is saddened by the images and news coming from the war in Ukraine. SOTI condemns the unlawful invasion of Ukraine, and calls for the restoration of peace, freedom and the protection of its people.
SOTI has taken the following measures working alongside the government of Canada in compliance with government sanctions effective February 28, 2022, which currently remain in place.
SOTI stands in solidarity with our employees who have faced unimaginable obstacles, including those and their families who have needed to flee for their lives and safety. To support our global employees impacted by this crisis, SOTI has been working with individual employees to help resolve personal banking issues, visa status applications, relocation and more. SOTI continues to work with global financial institutions, government agencies and more to lend support and advocate on behalf of our employees in need.
Following suit with Canadian government mandated sanctions, SOTI has ceased new sales and active banking operations in Russia.
SOTI held a fundraising campaign to support humanitarian and relief efforts for Ukraine. SOTI employee donations were matched by the company 1:1, in partnership with organizations aligned to humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine. Relief efforts supported the Red Cross and Doctors without Borders.
SOTI has provided mission-critical technology licenses, services and support at no cost to Ukrainian organizations, enabling them to securely deploy, manage and maintain mobile devices in response to critical needs and services for displaced civilians.
SOTI will continue to take any additional steps as the situation evolves.
