Browser
The Browser configuration for Android Enterprise profiles enables you to manage Google Chrome browser security settings on Android Enterprise devices. You perform this configuration when:
Allow Incognito Mode | When enabled, the user can launch the browser in incognito mode (private browsing). |
Allow Location Tracking | When enabled, websites can request location data from the device. |
Allow Cookies | Select whether websites are allowed to install browser cookies on the device. Options are:

Allow JavaScript | When enabled, JavaScript can run in the browser. |
Enforce Safe Search | When enabled, the device users' ability to search for explicit or otherwise unsafe content on the device is limited. |
Allow Browser History | When enabled, browsing history is saved on the device. |
Allow Password Management | When enabled, passwords can be saved for websites that have been visited from the device. |
Allow Browser Popups | When enabled, websites can open popup windows. |
Allow Auto-fill | When enabled, the browser can automatically complete fields in web forms using previously stored information such as name, address or credit card information. |
Default Search Provider | Specify a default search provider to be used when the user initiates a search via the navigation bar in the browser. |
Allow Editing of Bookmarks | When enabled, device users can add, edit, or delete browser bookmarks. |
Enforce Translate Mode | When enabled, the browser displays, when appropriate, an integrated toolbar offering to translate a web page for the user. |
Allow Search Suggestions | When enabled, the browser displays search suggestions when the user types a search term in the address bar. |
Allow Network Action Prediction | When enabled, the browser can preload the IP addresses of all links on a displayed web page. |
Allow Data Compression | When enabled, device users can enable an option in the Google Chrome browser to have Google servers compress web pages before they are rendered in Chrome. |
