Searching for a Device

About this task

You can search for devices in SOTI Connect using specific properties or saved search queries to quickly locate the device you need.

Procedure

  1. From the SOTI Connect main menu, select Devices.
  2. Select the Search Bar to start a search.

  3. Under Properties, choose the type of property to search by. See Device Properties for more details.

  4. Optional: Select Saved Search to use a previously saved search query.
  5. Enter a search term in the search field, then press Enter or select the search button.
    Tip: Select the icon to store your search query for future use.

Results

Devices matching the search criteria are displayed in the Devices list.
