Editing an API Client

Before you begin

You must have:
  • Manage API Clients permission to add, edit and delete API clients.
  • A cloud-based SOTI MobiControl instance.

About this task

To edit an API client for SOTI MobiControl:
Note: If you have an on-premises SOTI MobiControl installation, you can still use the old method of editing an API client. See Finding Your Client ID and Client Secret.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to the SOTI MobiControl console and from the main menu select:
    Global Settings > Services > API Client.
  2. In the API Client screen, select the API client to edit.

  3. In the Edit API Client screen, edit the Name field.

    Note: You can only edit the Name information when editing an API client.
  4. Select OK.
  5. The edited API client displays in the API Client screen.
