Updating a User Role

Before you begin

About this task

Use this task to update an existing user role in SOTI Connect.
Note: You cannot modify the Administrator role.

Procedure

  1. From the SOTI Connect main menu, select Users and Permissions.
  2. In the left panel, select Roles tab, then select the role you want to update.
  3. Select General Permissions tab in the left panel. The General Permissions tab opens.
  4. On the General Permissions tab, select or clear the permissions you want this role to have.
  5. Select Save.

Results

The selected user role is successfully updated with the new permissions.
