Deleting a User Role
Before you begin
- Ensure you have administrative privileges to manage user roles in SOTI Connect.
- Reassign any users currently assigned to the role you intend to delete, so they have a different role.
About this task
Note: You can delete only:
- The Global User role.
- A user-created role that is not assigned to any users.
Procedure
- From the SOTI Connect main menu, select Users and Permissions.

In the left pane, hover over the user role you want to delete.
Note: You can delete only those user roles that you created and that are not assigned to any users.
- Select the menu button next to the role, then select Delete. A confirmation dialog box opens.
- In the confirmation dialog box, select Confirm.
