Adding a Firmware File to the File Store

About this task

To add a firmware file to the SOTI Connect file store:

Procedure

Navigate to Main Menu > File Store. The File Store window appears.
Select Upload File on the top-right. The Upload File window appears.
Choose Firmware from the File Type drop-down list.
Use the Select File button to upload the device firmware.
Optional: Configure Automatic Deletion and specify the Delete File On to automatically delete the firmware file.
Select Upload and proceed to configuring File Details.
Enter Firmware Version.

Note: Firmware version information auto fills if the uploaded file has the meta data for firmware version.
Applicable Device Types and Models are auto selected.

Note: Users can explicitly choose the device types and models for the firmware to apply.
Select Save to complete uploading the firmware to file store.

Results

The firmware file upload is successful and available under file store.
