Modifying a Custom Attribute

About this task

You can modify an existing custom attribute to update its configuration or properties.
Note: You will receive a warning if the custom attribute is currently in use by any device. You must remove it from all associated devices before making changes.

Procedure

  1. From the SOTI Connect main menu, navigate to Administration.
  2. In the left pane, select Custom Attributes.
  3. Next to the custom attribute you want to modify, select the checkbox and choose Edit.
  4. Modify the settings you want to update.
  5. Select Save.

Results

The selected custom attribute is updated successfully and reflects the new configuration.
