Configuring Authentication for Windows Modern Desktop
About this task
Procedure
- From the main menu, select Profiles.
- Select New Profile. The Add Profile dialog box opens.
- Select the device family type.
- Enter a Profile Name and Description.
- Select the Configurations tab.
- Select Add to add a profile configuration.
- In the Security pane, select Authentication. The Authentication dialog box opens.

Select the appropriate values for the following sections:
- Complexity Requirements
- History
- Enforcement
- Windows Hello
For more details about the configuration fields, see Authentication (Desktop). - Select Save.
- To save your policy and assign it later, select Save. To save your policy and assign it now, select Save and Assign.
