Set Up Duo Security

Before you begin

Set up administrator access and Auth API in Duo Security to integrate with SOTI Identity successfully.

To configure Duo as an authentication factor in SOTI Identity:

Sign in to your Duo Security administrator account.

Note: You must have information from Duo Security to connect it to SOTI Identity.
Open another browser tab or window, and sign in to SOTI Identity as an account administrator.
In the SOTI Identity Admin Console, open the main menu in the top-left and select Account Settings.
Select Authentication Factors to expand the menu item.
Turn on Enable Duo Security.
Enter values for the Integration Key, Secret Key, and API Hostname in their respective fields.

Note: You can find these values in the Duo Security Admin Panel.
Choose a Duo username format:
- SOTI Identity Email: users logging into SOTI Identity must enter the full email address associated with their account.
- SOTI Identity Username: users logging into SOTI Identity must enter the exact username associated with their account.
Save your settings.

You can now use Duo as an authentication factor.
