Remove an Application

Before you begin

On the application side, disconnect the application (SOTI MobiControl or SOTI Connect) from SOTI Identity. For specific instructions, read the documentation for the respective applications.

About this task

Note: This procedure is only applicable to on premises deployments of SOTI MobiControl or SOTI Connect.
Important: This will permanently delete the application and all of its associated information, including assigned user roles. Consider deactivating the application instead.

To remove an application that's connected to SOTI Identity:

Procedure

  1. In the SOTI Identity Admin Console, open the main menu in the top left and select Applications.
  2. Select the application that you want to remove and click the Remove icon in the Application Actions.
  3. In the Delete Application dialog box, enable the Yes, please remove this application option.
  4. Click Delete.

Results

You have deleted the connection for this application from SOTI Identity. Application users can no longer log into this application using their SOTI Identity credentials.

If you re-add this application to SOTI Identity later, it will not retain any of its previous information.
