About this task

Use this task to deploy SOTI ONE applications to Android Enterprise devices. This app policy streamlines deployment, enforces consistency, and minimizes manual configuration across your device fleet.
Important: For best results, use a single app source when deploying SOTI ONE apps. If you assign the same app through both Enterprise Apps and SOTI ONE Apps, the version from Enterprise Apps takes precedence and overrides the SOTI ONE deployment.

Deploy the following SOTI ONEapps to enhance device functionality and ensure secure, centralized control:

  • SOTI Snap: Enable users to access SOTI Snap apps. This is ideal for distributing custom business apps that support frontline workflows such as inspections, inventory updates, or field data capture.
  • Settings Manager: Configure device-level restrictions and enforce compliance by remotely locking down features like Bluetooth, camera, or system settings. Useful for corporate-owned (Android Work Managed, COPE) devices used in retail or logistics environments.
  • SOTI Surf: Deploy SOTI Surf to securely browse intranet resources or whitelisted external websites. Often used in kiosk scenarios or where access must be limited to only approved sites.
  • SOTI Hub: Deploy SOTI Hub to deliver and manage secure access to corporate content libraries. Ideal for sales reps, field technicians, or distributed teams who need offline access to documents and manuals.

When using an app policy, you can preconfigure installation behavior, enforce permission handling, and apply custom configurations reducing user setup time and improving operational consistency.
