Configuring Signal Policy Settings - Device Side Evaluation

Signal Policy settings offer advanced configuration options depending on the selected condition type. SOTI MobiControl can configure supported devices to evaluate specific Signal Managed Device properties at a defined frequency.

About this task

Configure policy settings after adding conditions to your Signal policy. Set policies to proactively respond to device-side evaluations of your conditions rather than server-side evaluations that rely on device check-ins to trigger Signal actions.
Restriction: Based on the platform, device side evaluations are available for the following managed device properties: List of Device Side Evaluation Properties.

Procedure

  1. Select Settings to navigate to the Settings tab.

  2. Toggle on Enable Device Side Evaluation.

  3. Select a frequency of evaluation for your conditions.
