Setting Up Windows Notification Services

The Windows Notification Service (WNS) enables SOTI MobiControl administrators to push configuration changes and other updates to Windows Modern devices immediately. With WNS, you do not have to wait for the next scheduled device check-in to occur, and you can also track Windows Modern devices in real-time with WNS.

This section describes how to set up WNS in the SOTI MobiControl web console. You must register a dummy Windows Store app using the Microsoft Partner Center dashboard to generate WNS credentials. You do not need to publish this app.
