Personal Recovery Key Encryption Information

You must have the Download Encrypted Personal Recovery Key permission to download the encrypted personal recovery key and View Decrypted Personal Recovery Key permission to decrypt and view the personal recovery key in real-time. See General Permissions for more information.

The following information is available in the SECURITY section in the DEVICE DETAILS tab of the Device Information panel in the SOTI MobiControl Web Console.

Field	Description
FileVault Enabled	Shows whether the FileVault is enabled or not. The following fields are visible only if FileVault is enabled.
Recovery Key Type	Shows the chosen recovery key type.
Recovery Key Escrowed	Shows whether the personal recovery key is stored in the SOTI MobiControl Server.
Escrowed Date	Shows the date and time the personal recovery key is stored.
Personal Recovery Key	Click View to decrypt and view the recovery key in real-time. Click Download to download the encrypted recovery key file to your device.
