Samsung On-Premises Activation Server

If your deployment is offline, it is still possible to manage Samsung devices. You must contact your Samsung representative and request the installation of a Samsung On-Premises Activation Server.

Note: If you need to build specific whitelists to access license servers, Samsung maintains a list of URLs and endpoints for Samsung ELM servers and Knox license servers on their Firewall Exceptions page.

Once your On-Premises Activation server is set up, and you have configured SOTI MobiControl to detect it, you can use it to activate the SOTI MobiControl enterprise license management (ELM) device agent.

Note: On-premises activation for Samsung Knox licenses is only supported on devices that support Samsung Knox 2.0 or later.
