Debugging web sites and web apps in SOTI Surf on Android Devices
About this task
As you are developing and testing web apps and web sites for use with SOTI Surf you can use Android's Developer Tools to debug issues.
Procedure
- Make sure the Allow Debugging switch is turned on in the SOTI Surf profile. See SOTI Surf Configuration Reference for more information.
- On the Android device you want to debug, enable the Developer Options, then turn on Enable USB Debugging (in the Developer Options). Make sure the web content you want to debug appears in SOTI Surf.
- Plug the device into your computer using a USB cable.

On your computer, open Google Chrome and type
chrome://inspect/#devices. You should see the device you plugged in the Remote Target list. - Click Inspect to debug the content that appears in SOTI Surf.
