Deploying SOTI Hub to Devices Using App Policies
About this task
SOTI recommends that you use an app policy to deploy SOTI Hub to your devices, so they can easily receive app updates through the Apple App and Google Play stores. However, if that is not possible for your environment due to security concerns or other reasons, you can deploy SOTI Hub to Android devices using a package.
The SOTI Hub app is compatible with Android devices running 4.1 or later and iOS devices running 8.0 or later.
To push the SOTI Hub app to your enrolled devices:
Procedure

Create an app policy.
- For Android Classic devices, select Google Play Store Applications
- For Android Enterprise devices, select Managed Google Play Applications
- For iOS devices, select App Store Applications
- Assign and push the SOTI Hub profile configuration if you have not already done so.
- Activate the app policy.
Results
The SOTI Hub app will be installed on the selected devices according to your settings. However, devices users cannot use SOTI Hub until the SOTI Hub profile configuration has been configured.
