Time Machine

The Time Machine profile configuration enables you to specify the location of a server used to back up a macOS device and to select backup options. You do this when:

Backup Server	Enter the URL of the backup server destination.
Backup All Volumes	Select this option to back up all the volumes associated with the device. By default, only the startup volume is backed up.
Backup System Files and Folders	Select this option to back up all system files and folders.
Automatic Backups	Select this option to schedule automatic backups at regular intervals.
Local Snapshots	Select this option to enable local backup snapshots when the device is not connected to the network.
Backup Size Limit	Enter the maximum size limit in megabytes used to back up the system. Set this value to zero for unlimited backup size.
Paths to Skip	Enter any specific file paths you want to skip when the startup volume is being backed up.
