Updating a User

Before you begin

Ensure you have administrative privileges to modify user accounts in SOTI Connect.

About this task

This task explains how to update the information of an existing user in SOTI Connect.

Procedure

  1. From the SOTI Connect main menu, select Users and Permissions. The Users and Permissions view opens.
  2. In the left pane, select the Users tab.
  3. In the right pane, select the checkbox next to the user you want to update. The user action bar appears.
  4. On the user action bar, select Update. The Update User dialog box opens.
  5. Enter the updated user information in the dialog box.
  6. Select Save.

Results

The user information is updated in SOTI Connect. Changes take effect immediately, and the updated user appears in the user list.
