Roles Tab
Use the Roles tab of the Group page to define or edit the group's roles. For details, see Editing Groups.
Note: The SOTI Assist group roles reference the SOTI MobiControl user groups. You need to create all the relevant user groups in SOTI MobiControl on the Security tab with the required Global and MobiControl Group permissions.
The following roles are supported in each SOTI Assist group:
- Group Administrators - have full access to all incidents and settings at the group level
- Group Technicians - have full access to all incidents of the group but cannot delete incidents
- Group Reporters - can create incidents with attachments and notes but has no management capabilities (for example, cannot assign incidents or view SLA information)
There is also a cross-group (or super-group) role, System Administrators, which grants the user full access to all SOTI Assist features. For details, see Administrators.
Group Administrators | Enter the name of the Administrators' group from the SOTI MobiControl instance that SOTI Assist is associated with. |
Group Technicians | Enter the name of the Technicians' group from the SOTI MobiControl instance that SOTI Assist is associated with. |
