System Requirements for the SOTI Apps Setup Wizard

Review the installation requirements of the SOTI apps server extension. You must have administrator rights on the machine.

Note: Installing the SOTI apps server extension on the same machine as SOTI MobiControl is not recommended.

Server Compatibility

The SOTI apps server extension is compatible with the 64-bit version of the following servers:

Windows Server 2008
Windows Server 2008 R2
Windows Server 2012
Windows Server 2012 R2

The server must be accessible through a public IP and have both .NET Framework 4.5.1 and the SOTI MobiControl Root Certificate installed.

At least one common Windows security protocol such as TLS 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, or SSL 3.0 must be enabled on the ERG server and SOTI MobiControl Management Service.

Client ID and Client Secret

Installing the server component requires an API client ID and client secret. For more information, see API Clients.
