Using the Apple Push Notification Service

Enrolling Apple devices into SOTI MobiControl requires Apple Push Notification Service (APNS). Additionally, SOTI MobiControl uses APNS to request Apple devices to check in.

The check-in process allows you to take advantage of advanced management features for your Apple devices, including retrieving device information and applying configurations and policies. The connection between SOTI MobiControl and APNS is securely established by installing an APNS certificate.
