Disabling the Syslog Server in SOTI MobiControl

About this task

To temporarily disable SOTI MobiControl from sending event log messages to a syslog server:

Procedure

Select Global Settings from the main menu.
From the Settings tree on the left, select Services > Syslog.
In the Syslog page that opens (see Syslog), turn off the Enable Syslog toggle.
Click Save.

Results

SOTI MobiControl stops sending log messages to the syslog server. If you re-enable it later, log messages that were generated in the interim will not be sent to the syslog server, only log messages beginning when it was re-enabled.
