SOTI Hub is an app that functions as a secure portal through which your device users can securely access corporate documents.
This topic describes how to send the SOTI Hub app to your devices. Before beginning, ensure that you have configured your environment to properly accommodate SOTI Hub. For more information on SOTI Hub, its features and its integration with MobiControl, refer to SOTI Hub.

The SOTI Hub app provides several options for user authentication to ensure security. If you plan to use LDAP for authentication, make sure your devices are enrolled with LDAP. See Adding Android+ Devices and Adding iOS devices for more information. You can use any LDAP system configured on your content repository.
The SOTI Hub app is compatible with Android+ and Android for Work devices running Android 4.1 or later. It is also compatible with Apple devices running iOS 8 or later.
You can use either an application catalog rule or a package to send the SOTI Hub app to your devices. SOTI recommends using an application catalog rule so devices can easily receive app updates through the Apple App and Google Play stores. However, if that is not possible for your environment due to security concerns or other reasons, use a package.
Note: Choose App Store Application for your iOS devices and Google Play Store (or Google Play for Work ) Application for you Android or Android for Work devices.
Note
You cannot send packages to iOS devices. While the SOTI Hub app is available on iOS devices, Apple's security restrictions prevent SOTI from providing .ipa files outside of the Apple App Store.
Note: Consider putting the SOTI Hub package in the same profile as the SOTI Hub profile configuration that configures it, for simplicity.
Devices users cannot use the SOTI Hub app until you have configured your content repository through the SOTI Hub profile configuration.
