Enabling Chat Services

Before you begin

Updating the Support Channels requires an Analysis Profile to push permissions to devices. See Creating an Analysis Profile.

About this task

SOTI XSight Live Support requires Chat Services. To enable Chat Services for text, voice, and video:

Note: You can only use one Chat Service (this includes both single and multi-node environments).

Procedure

  1. Select the SOTI XSight icon and select Settings.

  2. From Global, select Chat. Chat options open.

  3. Enable Chat Component.
  4. From Support Channels, select a chat service to use.

Results

Chat Services are enabled.
