Deleting a Directory Service Connection

Provides steps to remove directory service connections from SOTI MobiControl.

Before you begin

You cannot remove a directory service connection if it is currently in use somewhere in SOTI MobiControl.

About this task

This task covers the option to remove a directory service connection if the connection is no longer in service or needs reconfiguration based on user requirements. This task applies to both on-premises LDAP connections and Microsoft Entra ID connections.

Procedure

1. Select Global Settings from the main menu.

   

2. From the Settings tree on the left, select Services > Directory to display the Directory dialog box.
3. In the LDAP Directories or Microsoft Entra ID section, hover over the connection you want to delete.
4. Select the icon in the selected connection's row.

   

5. Select Delete in the confirmation message that appears.

   

Results

The removed directory service connection is no longer available in SOTI MobiControl for authentication or device enrollment.
