Deleting an Identity Provider Connection

Delete an Identity Provider (IdP) connection from SOTI MobiControl.

Before you begin

Log in as a SOTI MobiControl user with the Manage Directory Services permission enabled.

About this task

IdP connections integrate external authentication systems with SOTI MobiControl. Delete an IdP connection if it becomes outdated, requires replacement, or no longer needed in your environment.

Procedure

  1. In the SOTI MobiControl web console, select Global Settings from the main menu.

  2. Select Services > Identity Provider to display the Identity Provider window.

  3. From the list of Identity Providers, hover over the IdP connection you want to delete and select the (delete) icon.

  4. In the confirmation message, select Delete to confirm the deletion.

Results

The IdP connection is now removed from SOTI MobiControl and is no longer available for use for web console authentication or device enrollment.
