Profile Installation Options
Installation Method Choose how to install the profile contents on the device: - Automatic: Installs the profile contents as soon as the device receives them.
- Self Serve: Lets the device user select which configurations or packages to install.
Retry Installation if Profile Fails or is Partial If a profile fails to install or installs partially, SOTI MobiControl retries up to three times: first within 30 minutes and then at 30-minute intervals. Installation Priority Choose a priority to determine this profile’s order during installation. A value of 1 is the highest, ensuring the profile installs first. Non-prioritized profiles are not affected.
Halt Installation of Lower Priority Profiles Stop lower-priority profile installations if this one fails. Network Restrictions Specify the networks the device can use to download profile contents. Minimum Battery Level Specify the minimum battery level required to start the installation. Package OptionsSelect options for how packages are stored on the device, when installation or re-installation occurs, and when to uninstall the package.
Note: This section is visible only if the profile has a package.Store Packages Persistently Keeps packages in persistent storage for redeployment after a factory reset or cold reboot. Reinstall Every Update Schedule and Check-in Reinstalls packages based on the update schedule or whenever the device checks in. Uninstall Contents After Profile Revocation/Deletion SOTI MobiControl removes package contents when revoking or deleting the profile. Install Date Specify the date and time for installation using either Device Time or UTC Time. Custom Package Installation Schedule Define specific time frames for package installation. Select Add to create a new schedule or Edit to modify an existing one. Profile Deployment Actions
Assign Date Set a date and time to assign the profile. If you enable Delay to Next Update Schedule, the profile assignment takes place on the first update check-in following the assign date. Disable Date Set a date and time to disable the profile. Revoke Date Set a date and time to revoke the profile. Custom Deployment Schedule Define time frames for installing profile contents. Select Add to create a new time frame. Note: You can set a profile assign date/time and a time frame. If the assigned date/time is outside the time frame, the profile is not automatically installed. It installs only if the device checks in within the time frame after the assigned date. The time frame start does not trigger a check-in.Note: Package downloads may extend beyond the deployment time frame based on their size. Downloads continue until complete and resume after interruption if the device goes offline.Pause Package Download Outside of Schedule Pause package installation outside the defined schedule and resume only during the scheduled installation window. Note: Supports Android Work Managed, Work Profile, and Corporate Personal devices.Profile Scheduling

Results
Your profile installs on the selected devices based on the defined assignment criteria.
Troubleshooting: If the profile fails to install on many devices, it may indicate an
incorrect configuration or a missing dependency. To resolve this, edit the profile
and reassign it. Alternatively, select Retry Installation
from the Profile Actions list in the Profile Information panel
to force devices with a Failed or Partially Installed profile to attempt
re-installation.
