Reinstalling a Package

About this task

Fix occasional package errors or clean up application data by reinstalling packages.

Selecting the menu option to force reinstall a package.

Procedure

  1. In the Devices view, select a device to open its Device Information panel, then switch to the Configurations tab.
  2. In the Profiles section, select the profile containing the package you wish to reinstall to expand its contents.
  3. Besides the package you want to reinstall, select More > Force Package Reinstallation to open the Force Package Installation dialog box.
  4. Select OK to force the re-installation of the package on the device to fix any possible package issues.
