About this task

Delete a compliance policy to remove it from the SOTI MobiControl system. Once deleted, you can no longer use the policy to check a device's compliance.

Warning: Do not delete the default compliance policies.

To delete a compliance policy:

Procedure

  1. In the Compliance Policies view, select a compliance policy's name to open its Compliance Policy Information panel. Select the Delete button from the Compliance Policies Actions list.
    You can also select > Delete beside the compliance policy.
  2. Select Delete.

Results

The compliance policy is no longer active or available in SOTI MobiControl. Devices flagged as non-compliant due to this policy become compliant (if no other policy flagged them) and any non-compliance actions that were active get revoked.
