Remote Control Settings
Use the Remote Control Settings dialog box to select a connection profile and device skin for plugin-based remote control sessions.
| Override Settings Inherited from Parent Group 'device group name' | Select to ignore settings inherited from parent device groups.
This option only appears on nested device groups. |
| Apply changes to all child groups and devices | Select to cascade settings specified here to all nested devices and device groups. |
| Connection Profile | Select the type of connection to be used for plugin-based remote control sessions. |
| Enable Device Skin | Select this option to add a device skin to the device during plugin-based remote control sessions. |
| Manufacturer | Select a device manufacturer from the dropdown list. A new dropdown list, Device Model, will appear where you can choose a specific device model to use as the device skin. |
| Device Model | Select a device model from the dropdown list to use as a device skin.
This dropdown list appears only after a Manufacturer has been selected. |
