Configure Application Settings

Use this dialog box to hide certain settings in the SOTI Surf app.

If a device has multiple profiles where the Application Settings conflict, the more restrictive setting will apply. That is, the setting will be enabled on the device.


Hide Accessibility	When enabled, accessibility settings for SOTI Surf are hidden from the device users. Enabling Hide Accessibility automatically enables all of its subsettings too.
Hide Text Scaling	When enabled, device users cannot see or access the Text Scaling option in the accessibility settings of the SOTI Surf app.
Hide Auto hide top and bottom bar	When enabled, device users cannot see or access the Auto hide top and bottom bar option in the accessibility settings of the SOTI Surf app.
Hide Full screen mode	When enabled, device users cannot see or access the Full screen mode option in the accessibility settings of the SOTI Surf app.
Hide Advanced	When enabled, device users cannot see or access the Advanced settings in the SOTI Surf app. Enabling Hide Advanced automatically enables all of its subsettings too.
Hide Restore tabs on startup	When enabled, device users cannot see or access the Restore tabs on startup option in the SOTI Surf app.
Hide Open links in new tab	When enabled, device users cannot see or access the Open links in new tab option in the SOTI Surf app.
Hide URL suggestion	When enabled, device users cannot see or access the URL suggestion option in the SOTI Surf app.
Hide Download Location	When enabled, device users cannot see or access the Download location option in the SOTI Surf app.
Hide Reset Settings	When enabled, device users cannot see or access the Reset Settings option in the SOTI Surf app.


Specify Download Location	Select this option and click the Configure button to open the Configure Download Location dialog box in which you can specify a location for documents downloaded from the browser.
